The Al Mafraq Juveniles Care Center at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ concluded its sports competitions and events organized on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Attending the closing ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Badr Al Harithi from the Engineering Projects Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; Major Ali Al Hadidi from the Juveniles Care Center; Yusuf Mohammed Al Naqbi, Director of the Boys Section at the Ministry of Social Affairs; as well as a number of officers and supervisors at the Center.
Major Al Hadidi indicated that these Ramadan sports events organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan embody a sporting and educational message targeting juveniles; implemented by people in charge of their rehabilitation and training. . He also pointed out that the events included various sports tournaments such as football; table tennis; pool; and play station.
The closing ceremony began with the UAE national anthem, and then one of the student recited verses from the Quran. Lieutenant Colonel Eng. Badr Al Harithi; Major Ali Al Hadidi; Yusuf Mohammed Al Naqbi; as well as the branch managers, officers and employees of the Social Unity Department affiliated to the Ministry of Social Affairs, honored the winners of the Ramadan sporting competitions and events, and the Juveniles team, winner of the football championship trophy.
