The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate urged its staff members to achieve and maintain excellence in delivering customer service, through a specialized training course organized in collaboration with Etisalat Academy. As many as 33 staff members from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate took part in the one-week course.
In a speech at the graduation ceremony, Colonel Juma Salim Al Dahmani, Assistant Director General of Civil Defense said that the training course is the first in a series of courses to be held by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate, with a view to improve its staff members’ performance. Moreover, he highlighted the importance of such programs to qualify and hone the skills of staff members. “The customer service excellence training course benefits individuals who deal directly with the public, and allows them to develop their skills and competencies, especially effective customer service communication skills, and determining the importance of measuring customer service as a prelude to sustainable excellence,” Colonel Al Dahmani indicated.
Furthermore, the Assistant Director General of Civil Defense urged staff members to exert further efforts, to constantly enroll in such important programs, share the acquired knowledge and experience with their colleagues, and to always seek self-development.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Dahmani handed out the certificates to the graduates, calling upon them to apply the acquired skills in providing better services to the public.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Head of Civil Protection and Safety Department, and Captain Abdullah Hamad Al Tamimi, Chief of the Customer Service Section at the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate.
