Major
General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs,
said that the four-star rating achieved by several departments and
centers is an honor bestowed on the Ministry of Interior, which is keen
to provide members of the public with the best-in-class services in
order to achieve the highest rate of customer satisfaction.
Major
General Al Khaili made the remark on Tuesday, while touring the
customer service center at Al Ain Residency and Foreigners' Affairs
Department to unveil the four-star plaque attained by the center, in
accordance with the Customer Service Centers Classification Project. He
added: “The police leadership has provided the necessary incentives to
develop and enhance the various services offered by the Ministry of
Interior to the public. This falls in line with the UAE’s national
agenda, which aims to make the UAE the safest place in the world.”
“The
Customer Service Centers Classification Project increases the UAE’s
chances of becoming one of the leading countries in the world to adopt
the best international practices in terms of government services
delivery. “The Ministry of Interior is the key provider of government
services, and is always keen to improve the quality of these services,
according to international best standards, in order to achieve the
highest rate of customer satisfaction,” he added.
Major General
Al Khaili said: “The ministry is implementing internationally approved
standards in service delivery and has been adopting all necessary means
that contribute to the processes of development, improvement and to
increase staff members’ skills and performance.” He also expressed his
hope to see all of the ministry’s service centers receive an advanced
rating under the Customer Service Centers Classification Project.
Major
General Al Khaili added: “The diligent efforts of the Al Ain
Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department that helped earn this
four-star rating will motivate them to strive harder towards higher
standards of performance in order to attain the ultimate goal: the
seven-star rating, and to serve the public efficiently. This is achieved
with the support and attention of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed
Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, who has been
adamant to encourage hard work and diligence in the processes of
development, intended to bring a quantum leap that keeps pace with the
developments across the UAE and the instructions of the wise leadership
towards excellence.”
In conclusion, Major General Al Khaili said
that the Ministry of Interior is keen to mark its centers’ achievements
with distinguished ceremonies, saying that diligent work teams deserve
praise and recognition.
Major General Al Khaili toured the Al Ain
Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department, accompanied by Colonel
Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and
Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi; Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al
Humairi, Director of the Al Ain Residency and Foreigners' Affairs
Department; and a number of senior officers at the ministry. Major
General Al Khaili extended his gratitude and appreciation to the
employees at the service center for their excellent performance and
dedication to improve public services.
For his part, Colonel
Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and
Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi said: “The department has made this
prestigious achievement for implementing a comprehensive administrative
approach in customer service. This falls in line with a strategy that
includes the best advanced practices, while focusing on customer
satisfaction, empowering and coordinating national efforts and improving
the standards of government services offered by federal and local
entities, in order to achieve a high quality of life for all, according
to the UAE Vision 2021.”
Colonel Al Zaabi added: “The department
has worked as one team and adopted a comprehensive methodological
evaluation process that echoes the vision of the Emirates Government
Service Excellence Program: Providing seven-star Rating government
services based on several standards, mainly; the strategic linking,
through awareness and commitment to develop government services’
quality; the ability to create change; and understanding customers and
their needs, using a database that ensures the best provision of
services.” He also emphasized the department’s commitment to ensuring
high service efficiency by presenting the services within a full package
to provide added value for customers, as well as adopting innovation in
presenting the services with the best design and management to improve
services quality, “in order to achieve customer satisfaction in line
with the vision and prospects of our wise government,” he added.
Colonel
Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Al Ain Residency and
Foreigners' Affairs Department noted that the center has implemented
the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program under the slogan
(Empower to Succeed). He emphasized the department’s keenness to pursue
diligent efforts towards excellence and sustainable development to
attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and achieve
excellence in the delivery of government services.
Al Humairi
said: “The Emirates Government Service Excellence Program represents a
platform towards developing services, in a way that meet customers’
needs and exceeds their expectations of high-quality services. This
approach is based on advanced international standards that cover all
aspects of customer service. Improving the services offered by the
department has earned positive feedback from members of the public, who
stressed their confidence in the services provided by the ministry and
praised the development efforts.”
At the end of the ceremony,
Major General Al Khaili, accompanied by Colonel Al Zaabi and Colonel Al
Humairi, honored the leaders of the project teams, namely: Lieutenant
Colonel Matar Ali Al Saadi; Major Suheil Al Niyadi; Major Mohammed Al
Shamesi; Major Abdullah Al Bloushi; Major Salim Al Ameri; Major Mubarak
Al Shamesi; and Captain Khalifa Al Ka’bi.
