Graduation of the Governance Course at Al Ain Residency

The Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department recently celebrated the graduation of participants in the Governance Course "preliminary level", which was organized by the Emirates Institute of Naturalization and Residency at the department’s headquarters.

Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department said: “Today, there is an imperative need to focus on governance, in light of fast moving and advanced world.” He also emphasized the need to instill the governance culture, in order to cope with the developments taking place in the UAE in various areas. In conclusion, he expressed his thanks to the participants who endeavored to ensure the success of this course.

The Al Ain Residency Department is one of the first departments to organize a specialized course on governance; thereby achieving the future vision of the Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department of becoming one of the best work teams in the area of governance at the Ministry of Interior’s level. Accordingly, a governance council was formed to achieve balance between strategic and operational responsibilities.

It is worth mentioning that the course aims to establish the corporate governance methodology by achieving distinguished performance, implementing the standards of justice, transparency and equality, enhancing confidence and credibility in the work environment, and providing best services to the public.
