Al Ain Residency Receives Children from Emirates Autism Society

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, July 16th 2014 [ME NewsWire]


The Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs Department in Al Ain received children from the Emirates Autism Society within their tour on governmental departments in Al Ain. This step comes in line with the initiative recently launched by the Society titled as “In the Footsteps of Zayed.”
The visit comes within the initiative that aims at establishing the noble principles of humanitarian action and social values that were planted by the Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, into the minds of the citizens of this beloved country.
The tour included the distribution of symbolic gifts to the participant children to encourage them on giving, as well as the distribution of Ramadan gifts on the clients of the department and taking commemorative photos with them.
Colonel Khalifa Matar Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners' Affairs Department in Al Ain, welcomed the initiative of the Emirates Autism Society that emerges from its belief in joint work with the partners and the various civil society organizations; and supporting its programs, initiatives and joint projects; and working according to one national system in order to achieve the sustainable development sought by the government.
Salem Al Hosani, Vice Chairman of the Emirates Autism Society expressed his happiness on the visit to the Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs Department in Al Ain, as well as the interaction of the staff and clients of the department with the initiative of the Emirates Autism Society. This initiative aims at raising the children in accordance with the authentic Islamic and Arab principles and manners, with the overall goal of integrating them in the society and making them beneficial and effective components of their society. The Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs Department offered a memorial shield to the Emirates Autism Society.
