MoI Ramadan Councils Kicks off in Ras Al Khaimah Tomorrow

Organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, five Ramadan councils will kick off tomorrow evening, Wednesday. These councils build upon the Ramadan councils that were launched in 2012 as a MoI initiative that invites UAE citizens to be involved in discussions that address essential topics.

The first Ramadan council covers the topic of, ‘United in Responsibility: The Responsible, Confident Emirati.’ The council will be held at the house of Ahmad Issa Al Nuaim, Director General of RAK Civil Service Department, and moderated by media personality Abdullah Ismail.

The second council will discuss the topic of, ‘United in Destiny: Patriotism is a Responsibility.’ The council will be held in the Al Saadi area and hosted by Sheikh Sultan bin Ali Al Khateri, former member of the Ras Al Khaimah Municipal Council and moderated by media personality Mohamed Ghanim.

The third council will elaborate on the topic of, ‘United in Knowledge: The Influences and Effects of Social Media,’ and will be held in the house of Faisal Abdullah Juma’ Al Tunaiji, Federal National Council member, in the Al Ramis area. The third council will be moderated by media personality Ali Al Shamesi.

The fourth council will discuss the topic of, ‘United in Prosperity: National Culture of Tolerance.’ The council will be hosted by businessman Saeed Ali Al Dahmani in the Al Munaie’e area and moderated by media personality Ahmad Al Tunaiji.

The fifth council will be a female council and will discuss the topic of, ‘Martyrs: They Will Not be Forgotten.’ The council will be hosted by the family of the martyr Tarek Al Shehi in the Sham area of Ras Al Khaimah, and will be moderated by media personality Fadila Al Muaini.
