Organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General
Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of
Interior, five Ramadan councils will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, to
conclude the Ramadan Councils event for this year.
The first Ramadan council covers the topic of ‘United in
Responsibility: The Social Security Net.’ The council will be held at
the house of Ali Mohammed Al Mulla, Director of a Private Company, and
moderated by media figure Talal Al Handasi.
The second council will be hosted by Dr. Suleiman Mousa Al Jassim,
Former Director of Zayed University. It will discuss the topic of
‘United in Destiny: National Service Honor.’ The council and moderated
by media figure Ahmed Al Yammahi.
The third council will elaborate on the topic of ‘United in
Knowledge: Transfer and Management of Knowledge’. The council will be
held in the house of Abdullah Khalfan Al Yammahi, Researcher in the
Emirati Heritage and moderated by media figure Munzer Al Muzakki.
The fourth council will discuss the topic of, ‘United in Prosperity:
Our Environmental Behavior.’ The council will be hosted by businessman
Hamdan Karam Al Kaabi and moderated by media figure Hamid Al Zaabi.
The fifth council will be a women’s council and will discuss the
topic of, ‘Financial Education for UAE Families’. The council will be
hosted by Fujairah businesswoman Badria Al Naqbi, and will be moderated
by media figure Shahd Al Abdouli.
It is worth mentioning that these councils complement the initiative
that started in 2012 to host such councils, as an effort from the MoI to
involve the UAE citizens and provide them with the opportunity to
discuss the important topics of interest to the public.
