The Al Soudin Ramadan Council Calls for Establishing an Emirati Talents Bank

The participants in the Ramadan Council, organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Law Respect Culture Bureau in the General Secretariat of the Office of H. H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and hosted by Ahmad Salem Al Soudin, Head of the Arab Organization for Arab and African Investment called for establishing a Talents Bank that includes the names, positions and addresses of all Emirati talents in the fields of science, arts, sports, engineering, medicine etc. the council also called for adopting labor immigration policies that encourage the advent of skilled workers with higher education.

The participants stressed the importance of setting a training program at schools, universities and companies with the aim to discover talents and invest in them, as well as qualify the students to enter the job market at an early age before joining in universities. This is to discover Emirati talents and support them. They also emphasized the importance of adopting policies that drive high-tech projects and raise the level of talents. Moreover, the participants recommended that annual published volumes of the Ramadan Council to be issued by the Law Respect Culture Bureau.

They noted that the United Arab Emirates has many talents, thanks for the support provided by its leadership in securing all the needs of a decent life.

Ahmad Salem Al Soudin appreciated the role of the Ramadan Councils, organized by the Ministry of Interior, in enhancing the culture of dialogue and communication between decision makers, legislators and the public, since these councils tackle issues that are of interest to the society.

Moderated by media personality Khalifa Al Ka’bi, the council discussed the topic (investing in talents in the UAE) emphasizing the importance of Ramadan Councils held by the Ministry of Interior, and noting that the Law Respect Culture Bureau, representing the Ministry of Interior, inaugurated the third season in Ramadan Councils with the goal of strengthening the law respect culture as well as spreading social and intellectual awareness about the importance of cohesion between the leadership and the people in implementing the UAE 2021 vision.

It is worth mentioning that the Council witnessed the participation of Sheikh Salem bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Federal National Council (FNC) member; Mohammed bin Saud Al Shamsi; Dr. Ahmad Ali Murad; Hisham Al Sayed, Head of Training and Development at Al Ain Municipality; Mohammed Juma’a Al Shamsi from Abu Dhabi Ports Company; Dr. Khaled Mohammed Saleh; and Ali Mohammed Al Soudeen.

The participants discussed some topics in relation to competencies investment in the UAE. One of the discussed aspects with this regard was that although the UAE has small population, it is full with competencies that turned the yellow desert into a green oasis; they turned the UAE into a famous country worldwide. Another factor that helps supporting the competencies is the fact that the UAE is the second strongest Arab economy and is the first in many fields such as services speed, corporate services, transparency, and others. The UAE has exported many Emirati competencies that became famous throughout the world, about whom many books, researches, studies, and conventions celebrated. The participants also indicated that the UAE is one of the world competencies destinations because of the political stability, encouraging economic climate, safety, and security that are enjoyed in the UAE. Concluding, the participants called upon parents to recognize their children competencies and train them in order to advance their talents which helps investing it for the benefit of the nation.
