Mufleh Al Ahbabi’s Council in Al Ain Discusses the Topic, “Khalifa: Completing the journey”

Mufleh Al Ahbabi hosted the MoI’s Ramadan Council in the city of Al Ain. The council is organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior.

Participants stressed that His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, is a role model to be emulated by all members of society. They called for spreading the values he personifies in schools and educational institutions, and for promoting the values of sound governance adopted by their highnesses, late Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Khalifa through the different types of media.

They stressed the importance of instilling the principles of exceptional leadership in the future generations, and to infuse these principles into educational curricula. They also called for encouraging the values of loyalty to the leadership in all sectors of society through the educational institutions and within homes.

The speakers at the council praised the efforts exerted by the government to provide a secure and safe oasis, for the benefit of both citizens and residents alike. They noted that the UAE citizens enjoy with a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle where all means of comfort and luxury are available, to help build a productive human being capable of serving his country and leaders efficiently.

Participants in the council included: Advisor Ayed Al Ahbabi, Colonel Mohamed Masoud Al Ahbabi of the Armed Forces, and a number of officials and citizens from the city of Al Ain.

In his opening speech, Mufleh Al Ahbabi welcomed the attendees, and thanked Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Interior. He hailed the idea of the Ramadan Councils organized by the ministry in citizens’ majlises at the countrywide level. He also commended the goals of such councils that are aligned with the various themes and topics discussed, to achieve interaction between the leadership and citizens.

Media personality Abdul Raheem Al Bateeh moderated the council that discussed the topic of United in Responsibility:  ‘Khalifa: Completing the journey’. He hailed the Ramadan Councils organized by the Ministry of Interior represented by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, stressing that convening such councils is an opportunity to submit and exchange views and to promote cooperation between the ministry and the various society institutions in the UAE. 

Participants indicated that the country’s leaders are inspired by the wisdom and ideology of the founding father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may Allah Bless his Soul), and live by his legacy. They also elaborated on the effect of the Bedouin spirit in Al Ain on the personality of the country’s leader, who has a strong memory and Bedouin insight, and is keen to ease the sufferings of the country’s citizens with significant attention. Participants at the council agreed that Khalifa is an exceptional leader who strives to see citizens of the UAE become exceptional as well. They also agreed that the higher leadership is conscious of the needs of both the citizens and the country and follows up on them closely. By the end of the council, Poet Jaber Al Ahbabi recited a patriotic poem to mark the occasion.
