Traditional Awards of Excellence Given to ADP Security Support Employees

Major General Al Nuaimi Honors First Graduates in the Third Session of Foundational Course

Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, granted Employment Excellent Awards to staff of the Abu Dhabi Police Security Support Section for their implementation of the directives given by police leadership and in recognition for their efforts in the field of police work. Five of the honored recipients were among the first to graduate from the third session of the foundational course, and were the top performers of the 32 graduates. The honoring ceremony incorporated 33 internal partners and six external parties.
The Secretary General began with commending the five employees of the Security Support Section before urging them to redouble their efforts in order to contribute to the process of police work in accordance with the best international standards. These steps will enhance the safety and security that is currently enjoyed in the UAE.
The celebration was held in the auditorium of the Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The attendees included:  Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Fares Khalifa Al Farsi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police; department directors; and a number of other officers.
Lieutenant Colonel Khaled Saeed Al Shamesi, Chief of Security Support Section, praised the support and care of the police leadership and for their focused provisions towards advancing potential. The leadership has contributed to the success of the staff members of the Security Support Section, helping them to become the forerunners in the completion of the course. These successes allow the staff members to effectively fulfill their duties and potential, and further enhance police and security work. 
Lieutenant Colonel Al Shamesi said, "With all of our strength, we seek to achieve the aspirations of the police leadership and to make the following statement a reality: ‘When the public needs help, ask a policeman. When a policeman needs help, ask Security Support’. Security Support will work relentlessly with hard work and dedication, and as a team that fulfills its duty with accuracy and devotion in all circumstances.”
He praised the efforts made by the partners from various departments for their support for the Security Support Section at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, as this support has contributed to achieving this overwhelming success.
The following recipients were honored: Corporal Youness Saeed Al Ketbi won First Place Overall; Sergeant Nawaf Amer Al Kathiri won First Place for Group Leadership; police newcomer Jassem Abdullah Al Azazi won First Place in Physical Fitness; police newcomer Sheikha Alaa Al Marzouqi won First Place in the Female Division, and police newcomer Fahd Khamis Al Dir’e won First Place for the Disassembling and Assembling of arms.
