Upgrading the sports for the police will duly benefit sports throughout the entire UAE.”

Adding further, HE Major General Al Rumaithi pointed out that cooperation between the Police Sports Association and the DSC will motivate everyone to redouble their efforts and contributions in order to further develop the technical level in every game; and to aspire to compete in world championships, stand on the winner’s podium and raise the UAE flag in all international forums. He added, “The role of the council and the association is not limited to their obligation. Both sides are keen to assume a national role that covers all borders, citizens, and most particularly, athletes. The council’s role extends beyond the borders of the Emirate of Dubai, and the association’s role extends beyond the police sector. We are confident that the next stage will be filled with fruitful cooperation between both sides in various fields.”
