MoI Urges Travelers to Register for the E-Gates Service

Major Mohammad Al Zaabi, Director of the E-Port Project, called upon UAE and GCC nationals, residents, as well as visitors and their family members who have an entry visa, to register in the Electronic Ports’ Project [e-gate], which facilitates speedy travel procedures across the country’s various ports, when entering and leaving the country.

These remarks will be included in the radio address by the Director of the E-Ports Project at the Ministry of Interior, which will broadcast live on Thursday.  It falls in line with the ‘Security Glances’ Campaign organized by the Radio Branch at the Security Media Department, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Major Al Zaabi indicated that the E-Gate System is recognized as the most efficient and advanced program in the world from a technical, operational and security integration aspect and ensures the highest standards of safety and security to all passengers. He added that registration is made available for all community segments and their families, including UAE and GCC nationals, residents, and visitors who have an entry visa.
