ADP Clubs Department Marks International Workers’ Day

The Clubs and Sports Activities Department affiliated with the Directorate General of Finance and Support Services at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, commemorated International Worker’s Day with a ceremony aimed at acknowledging the contributions of a number of workers, drivers and housewives. 

The department extended its sincere congratulations to all workers on International Workers’ Day, and presented them with commemorative gifts. The ceremony included a theater presentation, which sheds light on the International Workers’ Day and workers’ rights, and concluded with a dinner banquet to mark the occasion.

It is worth mentioning that the Abu Dhabi Police have been adamantly keen to commemorate the International Workers’ Day, which is celebrated every year on May 1st. This gesture personifies the attention dedicated by the police leadership to promote community partnership and communication with this important segment of society, with the aim of preserving their rights, enhancing their awareness and boosting their substantial role within the community.
