أوبيرثر تكنولوجيز وميانمار موبايل موني يتعاونان لتقديم الخدمات المالية عبر الجوال في ميانمار

(بزنيس واير): أعلنت اليوم "أوبيرثر تكنولوجيز"، الشركة الرائدة عالمياً في مجال حلول الأمن الرقمي في قطاع التنقلية، بأن شركة "ميانمار موبايل

موني" المحدودة وشريكتها الاستشارية، شركة "موبايل مايت تيليكوميونيكيشنز" الخاصة المحدودة، قد أطلقتا الخدمات المالية عبر الجوال بنجاح على الصعيد الوطني في جمهورية اتحاد ميانمار، بالاعتماد على الحل الذي توفره "أوبيرثر تكنولوجيز".

وتستند هذه الخدمة المالية الوطنية الأولى عبر الجوال، والمتوفرة باللغتين الإنكليزية والبورمية، على حل "إم واليت" من "مور ماجيك" التابعة لـ"أو تي" . وتتضمن بشكل خاص تحويلات مالية من شخص إلى شخص، ووضع وسحب الأموال بمساعدة الوكيل، وحل خدمة بطاقات إعادة تعبئة الرصيد الإلكترونية "توب آب"، ودفع الرواتب، والمدفوعات التجارية.

هذا وستمتد الخدمة، التي بدأت في المدن الكبرى نهاية عام 2013، تدريجياً لتصل إلى كافة أنحاء ميانمار. وبحلول نهاية عام 2014، سيكون هناك أكثر من 6000 وكيل، مع نمو كبير متوقع على مدى السنوات الخمس القادمة. وسيستفيد من الخدمات في النهاية أكثر من 80 في المائة من السكان، إذ تمكنهم من الحصول على الخدمات المالية الأساسية.

وقد شهد الاقتصاد في ميانمار نمواً سنوياً قوياً بنسبة 6 في المئة أو أكثر على مدى السنوات القليلة الماضية، ولكن أقل من 20  في المئة من السكان قادرون على الوصول إلى الخدمات المصرفية في اقتصاد يعتمد إلى حد كبير على النقد. وستدعم الخدمات المالية عبر الجوال، التي أطلقت بإذن من البنك المركزي في ميانمار، مبادرة الحكومة لتوفير خدمات مالية أفضل للمواطنين الذين يستفيدون من البنية التحتية الجديدة للاتصالات التي تم تعزيزها مؤخراً.

Oberthur Technologies and Myanmar Mobile Money to Provide Mobile Financial Services to the Large Unbanked Majority of the Myanmar Population

Oberthur Technologies, a world leader in digital security solutions for the mobility space, today announced that Myanmar Mobile Money Co Ltd, together with its consulting partner company Mobilemate Telecommunication P/L, has successfully launched Mobile Money services nationally in The Republic of Union of Myanmar, relying on its solution.

This first national mobile money service, offered in both English and Myanmar, is based on OT’s MoreMagic m:Wallet. It notably includes person-to-person transfer, agent-assisted cash-in/-out, air time top-up, salary disbursements, and merchant payments.

Started in major cities at the end of 2013, the service will progressively extend to all localities in Myanmar. By end of 2014, there will be over 6000 agents, with expected double-digit growth over the next 5 years. The services will eventually serve more than 80% of the population, giving them access to basic financial services.

The Myanmar economy has experienced strong 6% or higher annual growth over the last few years, but less than 20% of the population is able to access banking services in an economy that is largely cash-based. توعية ميدانية في العين لخفض السرعات بمناطق عبور المشاة

نفذت مديرية المرور والدوريات حملة توعية ميدانية مكثفة  بمدينة العين،   حثت  فيها السائقين على ضرورة الالتزام بخفض السرعات بالقرب من  مناطق عبور المشاة، وإعطائهم الأولوية للعبور.

وقال الرائد صلاح الحميري، رئيس قسم مرور ودوريات العين بمديرية المرور والدوريات في شرطة أبوظبي، إنه تم توزيع كتيبات إرشادية على سائقى المركبات والمشاة، خصوصاً في الشوارع الرئيسية بالعين  توضح لهم  الطرق الصحيحة لعبور المشاة.

 وذكر أن الحملة تأتي تجسيداً  للرؤية الشاملة للقيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي ضمن خطة توعية شاملة؛ ينفذها القسم في مدينة العين لنشر الثقافة المرورية وسط قطاعات المجتمع كافة، وتتواصل طوال العام  خاصة في ظل ارتفاع عدد حالات الدهس في السنوات الماضية.

  ودعا الحميري قائدي المركبات إلى الالتزام بقوانين السير والمرور، وضرورة التقيد بالسرعات المحددة للطرق، والالتزام بإعطاء الأولية للمشاة في الأماكن المخصصة لذلك والتمهل أثناء القياده تفادياً لحوادث الدهس.

من جانبه أشار الملازم أول  ناصر خليفة  الشامسي،   مدير فرع العلاقات العامة بالإنابة في قسم مرور ودوريات العين،  إلى أن  حملات  التوعية المرورية  الميدانية التى شملت عدداً من الطرق تم تنفيذها  بالتعاون مع  فرع الضبط المروري  بالعين، وشملت توعية السائقين والمشاة من مختلف الجنسيات.

 ولفت إلى تواصل برنامج الزيارات المدرسية للطلاب بالتنسيق مع منطقة العين التعليمية مشيراً إلى أن  مجموعة من طالبات  مدرسة  الفوعه  للتعليم الأساسي  زرن  القسم وتعرفن من خلال محاضرة توعية  على القاعدة الذهبية لركوب الحافلة  وعبور الطرق.

Al Ain Traffic Awareness to Reduce Speed at Pedestrian Crossing Zones

The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police organized an extensive awareness campaign in Al Ain City, where it reminded drivers of the importance of decreasing speed when approaching pedestrian crossing zones, and the need to give them the priority to cross.

Major Salah Abdullah Al Humairi, Chief of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate General of Abu Dhabi Police, revealed that awareness brochures were distributed to drivers and pedestrians, especially along the main streets in Al Ain. These pedestrian safety brochures provide tips on the proper ways to cross roads safely.

“This campaign embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s overall vision through a comprehensive awareness plan that is executed by the section in Al Ain City to spread traffic awareness among all segments of society. This campaign is carried out all year long, in light of the alarming increase in the number of run-over accidents in recent years,” he added.

Al Humairi called on drivers to abide by traffic laws, stressing the need to abide by legal speed limits, give priority to pedestrians in designated zones, and drive slowly to avoid running people over.

First Lieutenant Nasser Khalifa Al Shamesi, Acting Public Relations Branch Manager at the Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section, revealed that the traffic awareness campaigns along the different roads were executed in partnership with the Traffic Control Branch in Al Ain. The campaigns included educating both drivers and pedestrians from different nationalities.

In conclusion, First Lieutenant Al Shamesi said: “The student field trips continue in cooperation with the Al Ain Education Zone,” he said; noting that a number of female students from Al Foah Primary School have visited the section and learned about ‘the golden rules’ of boarding the bus and crossing roads.

A number of leaders from the Ministry of Interior met with the employees taking part in the inaugural Program to Identify and Sponsor Creative Individuals. Cette transaction permet à Kurion de tripler son effectif, la société issue de cette fusion bénéficiant d'usines à Richland, dans l'État de Washington, à Oak Ridge, dans le Tennessee, ainsi qu'à Houston, au Texas, à Loveland, dans le Colorado, et à Irvine, en Californie. Kurion est financée par les investisseurs en capital risque Lux Capital, Firelake Capital Management et Acadia Woods Partners.

Grâce à cette transaction, Kurion acquiert l'intégralité du portefeuille de technologies, brevets et secrets commerciaux de Vista Engineering. Kurion conservera également l'ensemble du personnel de Vista Engineering afin d'accélérer la croissance de la société.

Créée en 2000, Vista Engineering se spécialise dans 3 domaines : systèmes et services à distance, services d'ingénierie et de conception, et enfin services environnementaux. La société apporte son soutien aux départements américains de la Défense et de l'Énergie depuis 13 ans, dans le cadre d'un certain nombre d'initiatives parmi lesquelles des projets tels que le site de déchets nucléaires d'Hanford, le Laboratoire national de l'Idaho, ou encore le dépôt d'armes chimiques d'Umatilla. La société appuie également un certain nombre de sites de déchets à l'international, notamment au Japon et au Royaume-Uni. Elle a fourni des services de conception et d'analyse d'ingénierie à des projets de réacteurs nucléaires commerciaux de pointe.

Phil Ohl nommé au sein de l'équipe de direction de Kurion

Dans le cadre de l'acquisition, Phil Ohl, président et PDG de Vista Engineering, deviendra directeur d'exploitation de Kurion. David Brockman supervisera les activités domestiques combinées de la société, en tant que vice-président principal. John Raymont, fondateur de Kurion et président des opérations internationales, reste en charge de l'ensemble des marchés internationaux.

M. Ohl cumule plus de 20 années d'expérience en ingénierie et conception autour des sites de déchets nucléaires et dangereux. Il est actuellement membre du comité consultatif d'ingénierie du département d'ingénierie des matériaux et d'ingénierie mécanique de la Washington State University. Il a également été président et membre du conseil d'administration de la STEM Education Foundation de l'État de Washington. M. Ohl est reconnu en tant que professionnel de l'ingénierie mécanique dans les États de Washington et de l'Oregon.

L'acquisition permet à Kurion d'accélérer sa croissance

Kurion s'est forgée un nom pour la première fois lors de la catastrophe de la centrale nucléaire de Fukushima Daiichi en 2011, quand la société a participé à l'effort sans précédent entrepris par une équipe internationale de sociétés leaders en gestion des déchets nucléaires pour déployer rapidement le tout premier système externe de refroidissement de réacteur. Kurion continue de travailler en étroite collaboration avec la Tokyo Electric Power Company afin de développer et de mettre en œuvre des solutions innovantes autour des eaux contaminées de Fukushima, et d'appuyer d'autres éléments d'assainissement sur le site. De plus, la société conçoit un certain nombre de projets en faveur du département américain de l'Énergie ainsi que de plusieurs sites de déchets nucléaires européens.
