This expansion is part of their strategic plan to increase the indirect sales channel by partnering with new value added resellers/distributors in selected regions.

We are now increasing the number of our value added resellers, partners and alliances in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southern Europe. We will mainly focus on the Healthcare sector including acute care hospitals, institutional care elderly homes and independent living/home care, but also on the industry segment and have expanded our sales organization to make these expansion plans happen. The expansion plan includes the addition of new Ascom personnel in Russia, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. These additional staff bring extensive experience in wireless communications and will fill positions in Channel Management and Technical support. All of these positions have been filled by local people who live in the region and have vast contacts with value added resellers/distributors in their territory.
