Huber Engineered Materials Announces Global Price Increase for Precipitated Silicas and Silicates
ATLANTA - Wednesday, July 27th 2011 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Huber Engineered Materials, a division of the J.M. Huber Corporation, today announced a global price increase for its precipitated silicas and silicates. The increase is effective beginning Sept. 1, 2011, or as current contracts allow. Prices will increase up to eight percent.
The increase has become necessary due to increasing costs in raw materials, energy, freight, labor and manufacturing.
