(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Belkin today announced that company founder and Chairman of the Board Chet Pipkin will permanently resume the post of president and CEO, effective immediately. Pipkin takes over for Mark Reynoso, who has stepped down as the company’s president and CEO. Reynoso also vacated his position on Belkin’s board of directors.

Pipkin will lead the company in the long term and is not an interim caretaker. He was president and CEO until 2010 when Reynoso, then president, was promoted. Upon taking the reins, Pipkin stressed the move doesn’t signal a retreat by any means.
“I might have had this job before, but we’re not going back,” he said. “Mark built a lot of great competencies, processes, and systems. We’re going forward, for sure.”
