print24 sets a new quarterly record
DRESDEN, Germany - Thursday, October 6th 2011 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The online print shop, print24 (http://www.print24.com),closed the third quarter of 2011 with yet another record sales volume. The flagship company of unitedprint.com SE once again recorded strong, double-digit growth in sales.
Ongoing innovations and improvements
The key to this success is the whole host of innovations and improvements successfully completed by the firm in the third quarter. One example was reducing delivery times in Europe by up to three days. Europe’s web-to-print market leader is also going to reduce its delivery times even further for its customers during the fourth quarter of 2011. This will make print24 the fastest online print shop in Europe. Further, print24 pursued its aggressive price strategy in the third quarter, which meant that customers could benefit from three price reductions per week.
Individual special formats
The launch of the option to select individual special formats (as requested by a great number of customers) was a huge success. Since the beginning of September, print24 has been producing individual formats according to customers’ wishes and is the only online print shop to offer this service.
Customers more satisfied than ever
The latest quarterly figures confirm the firm’s strategy of moving away from expensive advertising campaigns and building on its own achievements instead. With best services in all areas of corporate activity, print24 has achieved record levels of customer satisfaction. Indeed, 97% of the online printer’s customers would recommend it to others. “While others fritter away huge sums of money on costly advertising and waste a great deal of energy improving public visibility, we are investing in top-rate services for our customers, i.e. the lowest prices, best quality, fastest delivery times, innovative improvements and an excellent service with top-level customer satisfaction.
Investing in staff and technology
After the millions already invested so far this year, by the end of 2011 the company will be making further significant investments in state-of-the-art technology. In this connection, the firm is also continuously increasing its workforce, with well over 100 staff recruited over the past 12 months. The firm’s objective is to achieve sales of EUR 100 million and boast a workforce of 1,000. Given the latest sales forecasts, this looks increasingly within reach.
