The daily celebrations were specially tailored to showcase 40 years of achievements by the Emirati people through a host of cultural activities. They included the local performing bands Harbiyya, Laywa, Yola and Na’ashat, para-jumping into the arenas, a typical Bedouin Hadheera or tent, handicrafts and old souq grocery shops.

In addition, visitors were greeted by characters from the popular Freej animation shows, treated to camel rides, live traditional games, henna sessions and an opportunity to be photographed with a live falcon perched on their hands.
