The 4th Emirates Cardiac Society Congress to be held in November

The Emirates Cardiac Society (ECS) and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences will jointly organize the 4th Emirates Cardiac Society Congress and the 1st Pediatric Cardiology Meeting from 7 to 9 November 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City, UAE. The two events are supported by Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Healthcare City and Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Center.

Dr. Alawi Alsheikh Ali, President of the Emirates Cardiac Society and Chairperson of the Congress said that “ECSC 2013 will provide a rich platform to update the delegates on recent advances in the ever-changing field of cardiovascular diseases”. A comprehensive scientific programme will be led by faculty from the UAE, the region, and abroad. The congress will address key topics including plenary sessions on coronary artery disease, cardiovascular prevention, valvular heart disease, cardiac arrhythmia and electrophysiology, coronary and valvular intervention and late-breaking clinical trials from recent international meetings. Joint sessions with leading international professional organizations are planned in addition to workshops that will run in parallel to the scientific programme, which will focus on EP/Arrhythmia, Preventive Cardiology, ECG for the Allied Health Professional, IVUS, ECMO for the Perfusionists, Echocardiography, Smoking Cessation and other topics.
