Brigadier Dr. Ali bin Darwish: The 2nd of December A Tribute of Appreciation and Pride for the Union’s March

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Saturday, November 30th 2013 [ME NewsWire]
To mark the UAE’s 42nd National Day, Brigadier Dr. Ali Mohammed bin Darwish, Director General of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, said in a speech:

Come December 2nd of every year, Emiratis stand proud in appreciation as they commemorate the UAE’s National Day. On this auspicious national occasion, we reminisce and admire this entity which stood tall and rose to the challenges with the help of Allah, led by the unwavering faith and vision of the country’s leadership. It has built upon the unity between citizens and the leadership, demonstrated through the continuous efforts to implement the principles of justice.

Since the establishment of the State, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan along with his brothers, members of the Supreme Council and rulers of the emirates, have set a clear goal, to advance and develop the country. Out of their firm belief that building and advancing nations require dedicating attention to the people, they gave priority to citizens as the main pillar to build the Union and the country. They placed the human cadre at the center of every new development plan, and focused on educating and qualifying them, being an essential asset to the union’s progress.  His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan followed in the same path, and gave his instructions to build schools, universities, and technical institutes. Human being was and will always be the top priority, being the real wealth behind any country’s development, and the ultimate objective for which efforts and potentials need to be harnessed to create a conscious generation armed with education and knowledge, and capable of keeping pace with the latest developments and changes in the world.

The Ministry of Interior has dedicated particular attention to train and qualify the human cadre, and to boost the efficiency of staff members working in the ministry’s various bodies, with a view to enhance police performance level. For this end, the Directorate General of Human resources at the Ministry of Interior endeavors to achieve the police leadership’s vision by training its national cadres to assume leadership positions in the various police departments to achieve the coveted goals and ensure security and stability in the country.

The department is committed to attract and provide the required human cadres for the ministry, based on evaluation to determine the ministry’s human resources requirements, train and qualify them to assume their entrusted tasks, motivate them and evaluate their performance. It laos seeks to implement the laws and regulations in force in the country, as well as the ministerial decisions and employees-related instructions, to upgrade the standard of performance.

The department also works constantly to develop human resources through continuous planning to fulfill the needs of employees in terms of modern training and development programs, to provide them with the means to self-develop their competencies and enhance the quality levels in work performance.

Concluding, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and blessings to our leadership and to the people of the UAE, praying Allah Almighty to keep it strong, secure, and stable under the banner of its generous and caring leadership.
