Members of the Emirates Women Police Association have made tangible contributions as well as monetary donations to the “Our Hearts with the Syrian People” cause that aims to help Syrian refugees.
Major Amina Mohamed Khamis Al Baloushi, Chairperson of the Emirates Women Police Association and Regional Director for Women Police in The Middle East Region, said: “The participating of members from the Emirates Women Police Association at the Our hearts with the Syrian People campaign, reflects the vision of the higher leadership to help and aid other people wherever they are.” She added that the donations included blankets, kids wear and monetary aid. The cause is facilitated by the Red Crescent’s branches across the country.
“These efforts to help Syrian refugees represent our humanitarian duty to help them face the winter and this extremely cold wave that is hitting the region,” Al Baloushi said.
