Al Mafraq Juvenile Care Center organized a (brain Storming) session as per the UAE Government strategy for the exchange of opinions and suggestions to achieve development leaps in work fields.
Brigadier Ahmed Mohammed Nehkairah, Head of Human Rights Department in the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Juveniles Care Center Steering Committee, chaired the session in the presence of Colonel Dr. Abdullah Muhammed Bu Hindi, Director of Al Mafraq Juvenile Care Center, and a number of Officers in the Center.
“The aim of this session is to motivate and encourage participants to adopt group thinking to create innovative thoughts and engage employees in decision making,” said Colonel Dr. Abdullah Muhammed Bu Hindi in his speech. He stressed the importance of sharing opinions and suggestions, and unleashing new ideas that contribute in the development and progress of the Center.
Brigadier Ahmed Nehkairah and the audience watched a short movie on brain storming before Captain Hamad Said Al Mahrazi provided an explanation of brain storming, in addition to basic steps and principles of the brain storming session.
The session witnessed the tackling of a number of suggestions provided by participants that help in the development of the plan and goals of the Center’s policy. The most distinctive suggestions was the “e-visit” to shorten distances between children and parents from remote residential regions who find it difficult to visit their children in Center. The e-visit also aims to promote e-communications, strengthen family bonds and discuss suggestions to activate the role of e-portal to enhance security and safety in the Center, and provide protection to all.
At the conclusion of the session, Head of Human Rights Department in the Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of holding regular similar sessions to discover newest developments in the Center work; define strength points and chances of development, improvement, planning and execution; and update consistent plans, to enhance the goals, vision, and mission of the Center, in addition to elevating its work to the best levels.
