The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, organized a workshop in collaboration with the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Ministry of Interior's Naturalization, Residency, and Ports Sector. The workshop included reviewing the vision, message, values, and strategic goals of the MoI Strategic Plan for 2014-2016.
Colonel Dr. Abdullah Abdurrahman bin Sultan, Head of Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Ministry of Interior's Naturalization, Residency, and Ports Sector, gave an overview of the special operational plans and processes laid out for the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services. He elaborated on some of the negative aspects that should be avoided, and the need to adopt the best managerial methods and practices to improve and advance performance in the sector.
Colonel bin Sultan stressed the important role that human resources play in increasing overall satisfaction and internal customer satisfaction. He also urged everyone to establish efficient contact and communication with all regional departments by increasing field visits, closely reviewing performance indexes, and issuing the reports that assist in developing the indexes.
Towards the end of the workshop, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Wadeema Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services, called upon all the department officers and staff to develop their capabilities to achieve the main goals of the resources and support services-related operational and strategic plans for 2014-2016, in addition to activating knowledge management on all occupational levels.
The workshop was attended by department heads, chiefs of sections, and staff members of both genders from the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, in addition to the parties and work teams that are concerned with executing the sector’s initiatives and plans for 2014-2016.
