ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, March 30th 2014 [ME NewsWire]Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed the final preparations for the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR 2014). The event will be held during 1-3 April 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Chairman of the ISNR’s Higher Organizing Committee, explained the ongoing preparations for the opening ceremony to Sheikh Saif on the stage designed specifically for this purpose. He also briefed him on the schedule of events and activities to be organized during ISNR.
HH Sheikh Saif stressed his confidence in the implementation-focused national capabilities and competencies, expressing his hope that ISNR and the accompanying events will succeed in achieving the desired goals in promoting cooperation and coordination between different countries in the policing and security fields. HH Sheikh Saif noted that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is considered one of the most safe and secure countries in the world, and accomplishing this requires determination and hard work from individuals and institutions alike. HH explained that the aim is to maintain security and stability and safeguard national achievements made in different fields.
For his part, Major General Al Kutbi said that the visit of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan is a catalyst for all staff members to continue their efforts, achieve the highest levels of results and pay attention to presenting this event in an excellent way that will yield exceptional results. He pointed out that such results will enhance the position of the UAE on the global map.
In addition to Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, HH Sheikh Saif was accompanied by Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance and Support Services in the Ministry of Interior and President of the Scientific Conference of ISNR; and Colonel Waleed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Shows and Events Committee, alongside a number of officers.
