The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi organized a farewell ceremony at Abu Dhabi International Airport on Wednesday, for the UAE official Hajj delegation ahead of their departure to perform the blessed Hajj rituals in the Holy land.
Present at the farewell ceremony were Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, along with a number of senior officers from the department. The pilgrims received copies of the Holy Quran and an awareness-raising booklet titled “Pilgrims Brochure” that includes a set of safety instructions and tips.
The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi urged pilgrims to protect their passports and official documents against damage or loss, and to keep their cash and credit cards in a safe place. The directorate also called on pilgrims to avoid crowded places to prevent potential risks, wishing them a blessed Hajj pilgrimage and a safe return trip to the homeland.
