The
Media and Public Relations Section at the Directorate General of
Resources and Support Services of the Naturalization, Residency and
Ports Affairs sector at the Ministry of Interior, recently organized a
blood drive in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank (ADBB) at the
Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD). The drive witnessed significant
turnout from officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and
civilians working in the sector.
This drive embodies the
Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sectors’ strategy and its
role in serving the local community, demonstrating its positive role and
promoting health education, as well as highlighting the many benefits
of blood donation.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Taleb Abdul
Karim Al Mahmoud, Chief of the Media and Public Relations Section,
emphasized the importance of these humanitarian initiatives and the role
they play in instilling human values and promoting the concept of
social solidarity. He pointed that the Naturalization, Residency and
Ports Affairs’ sector constantly organizes blood drives in cooperation
with the Blood Bank, which in turn supports this humanitarian deed
throughout the year.
