By having the 2nd consecutive year volunteer initiatives known as A Day to Remember with Helping hands! AbbVie has engaged its employees in UAE to stimulate enhancement of society's sustainability through active participation in local volunteer activities on Saturday June 6, 2015. As a testimonial of Social Responsibility, AbbVie South Gulf is partnering with one of UAE's prestigious NGOs Dubai Charity Association well known for its care for orphans as well as the under privileged through creative community programs with special recognition of HRH Princess Haya for their orphans’ programs.
AbbVie partnered with them in sponsoring orphans for an education day in an inspiring arts and crafts location, whereby the artist in all of us will be given free rein to paint beautiful individual works of art. Arts and crafts are identified as a highly effective way that allows children the freedom to explore and innovate outside places and activities. . Gift bags for the children and the caregivers were given as well.
