ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, July 27th 2015 [ME NewsWire]The Hemaya Security Services Company celebrated the graduation of the fourth specialized security guards course on Monday morning. The course, organized by the company, witnessed the participation of 119 guards.
The graduation ceremony, held at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Brigadier Mubarak Abdullah Dhaher Al Muhairi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks and Chairman of Hemaya Security Services; Colonel Omar Mohamed Al Dhla’a Al Zaabi, Acting CEO of the Company; along with directors of departments and heads of sections at the Hemaya Security Services and a number of Abu Dhabi Police officers.
In his address on this occasion, Col. Al Zaabi said: “Today we are celebrating the graduation of a new batch of Hemaya Security Services’ guards; of whom have completed the program of the fourth fundamental course, and are armed with knowledge and specialized training. They will assume their duties during the next 24 hours with their colleagues who have preceded them in this area.”
Adding further, he pointed out that the success of the Hemaya Security Services Company was achieved under the patronage and support of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and his keenness to consolidate the security and stability of the United Arabic Emirates. “The company provides the best security services, keeping pace with the march of development and economic growth in the country in order to provide the most important pillar - security. Hemaya also strives to prepare and train a new generation of security guards, of whom are worthy of the responsibilities entrusted to them and are able to live up to the expectations and aspirations of officials,” he said.
Towards the end of his speech, he congratulated the graduates on their excellence and success during their training period, and urged them to pursue further learning and to exert more effort and perseverance in order to gain the expertise that enables them to conduct their duties to the fullest. He also guided them to stay vigilant and to be attentive while performing the tasks that have been entrusted to them, so as to ensure that the UAE remains as an oasis of security and prosperity. Wishing everyone success, Col. Al Zaabi expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the staff members, thanking all the commissioned and non-commissioned officers and the civilian personnel of the Police Colleges Department. He acknowledged everyone for their constructive engagement in the training and for honing and refining the skills of the trainees during the course so as to be able to perform their duties efficiently and with dexterity.
Upon conclusion of the ceremony, Brig. Al Muhairi, accompanied by Col. Al Zaabi, honored a number of officers at the Police Schools Department alongside the distinguished graduates from the fourth cycle of the specialized security course for the personnel of the Hemaya Security Services Company for the year 2015.
