During an inspection visit to the Fujairah Police GHQ, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior reviewed the workflow and the procedures adopted to provide quality services to customers.
During the visit, Lt. General Al Sha’far met with Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanim Al Ka'bi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, directors general and heads of departments. The attendees discussed a number of topics with respect to the development of police work to the highest levels. The meeting also tackled the strategic performance indicators for Fujairah police and the 2014 polls conducted by the Emirates Center for Research and Studies on customer satisfaction with the services provided and their contentment with the security, safety and road safety services.
The Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior stressed the need to keep abreast of developments, strengthen security measures to maintain national gains, and contribute to preserving the prominent and prestigious status attained by the UAE on the international scene.
Additionally, Lt. General Al Sha’far praised the milestones achieved by the Fujairah police in this area, and called for maintaining and building on these achievements, so as to provide excellent services in line with the vision and strategy of the Ministry of Interior. “We need to communicate and interact with both our partners and the public in order to reinforce ties and teamwork spirit, by exchanging visits, information and expertise, strengthening cooperation to develop performance, and exerting additional efforts to combat crime and maintain road safety,” he noted.
For his part, Brigadier Al Kaabi pointed out that this visit reflects the keenness and significant attention dedicated by the ministry’s officials to closely inspect workflow at the different police general headquarters. “This would further advance security and maintain the national gains achieved by the county in all fields,” he emphasized. In conclusion, Brigadier Al Kaabi stressed the commitment to abide by the Ministry of Interior’s vision and strategy and avail all of the resources and potentials to preserve achievements and protect the country.
