On 13th November world-famous supermodel Natalia Vodianova hosted the Formula One Opening Ball for the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, wearing a dress by INGIE Paris. She looked enchanting in the dress from the AW 2010 collection in this season’s hottest colour, red.
The dress was a delicate flowing wraparound with batwing sleeves and a love knot in gold lamé embroidered with crystals. INGIE Paris is designed by the Middle East’s leading lady of fashion Ingie Chalhoub. Quickly becoming a favourite of celebrities and fashionistas, the ready-to-wear luxury label, launched in 2009, is sold exclusively at the Etoile ‘La boutique’ stores in Mall of the Emirates and Wafi.
The celebrity studded ball at Yas Hotel, Palm Terrasse, was the place to be seen on the eve of the Grand Prix, with high-class entertainment from Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sister Sledge and Sarah McLachlan. 1000 guests dined on gourmet food and fine wines as they rubbed shoulders with F1 drivers and the likes of Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and the Sugarbabes. All proceeds went to the Naked Heart charity, founded by Natalia in 2005. Ingie made a generous donation to the foundation which aims to improve childhood for young people.
