The industry of mobile halls is one that is undergoing a continuous and remarkable development, perhaps the mobile hall of the 10th SABIC Technical & Innovation Meeting at the Jubail Industrial City, sets a perfect and practical example of this development.
At first glimpse it may seem that this building has been set there for years, with its size and its external roof design that expresses a very lively sense of strength and durability that this hall enjoys, Aliqtisadi Newspaper had an exclusive lead to receive details on how the hall for the 10th SABIC meeting was created, under its slogan ' Technical & Innovation', which was perfectly represented by the hall it was hosted in.
The parts of this mobile construction were built and designed in Dubai, specifically at AlBaddad factories, in AlBaddad Business Park, a long known name in the field of developing and manufacturing mobile halls since 1971, which in coordination with its branches in Saudi Arabia was moved within days to its destination, only to rise up shortly after as a temporary architectural masterpiece with an estimated space of up to 10550 square meters, followed by the internal and external decorations that matches the importance and place of the event.
AlBaddad features various and different designs and uses several types of material, it can look like a pyramid, a dome, a hexagon, it can be Arabic style or multi-decked, it can be steel or gigantic, as for SABIC's technical meeting hall this year, it even had a distinctive name which is the Smart Hall that fairly explains its design with multiple geometric shapes thanks to its featured roof that was formed out of perfectly consistent miniature tents.
