Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, October 30th 2013 [ME NewsWire]
Visitors of the FanZone from all walks of life and society categories valued the ongoing efforts of Abu Dhabi Police to keep pace with societal events through its participation in the FanZone Exhibition activities. The event is in pursuance of the Security Media Department traffic awareness campaign under the slogan (The Road has its Ethics and Speed has its Track), and is part of the current preparations for the “The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,” which will be held at Yas Marina Circuit from 1-3 November 2013.
Visitors commended the Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to participate in such events, with educational brochures and symbolic gifts. This is a testament to the relationship between the police and members of the public that goes beyond maintaining security and stability, to become a partnership in spreading the law respect culture.
Abdullah Al Aswad asserted that the ADP participation in all events is no surprise; it merely reflects its diligent commitment to change the existing police role stereotype into a customer-centric role in line with its efforts to serve the public; a role that keeps pace with the rapid changes of daily life, and requires concerted efforts and further joint cooperation.
Khalifa Hamad, an employee, lauded the annual FanZone Exhibition as a significant event that attracts people of all group ages and society segments, the youth in particular. He noted that the exhibition caters to young people’s longing for education and knowledge, nonexistent in other exhibitions. He also commended the prominent and high-end participation of individuals renowned for their distinguished community service, notably the Abu Dhabi Police, which displays cutting-edge vehicles and services, to the admiration of visitors. “This comes in line with the ADP’s keenness to keep abreast of all developments and changes taking place in the world; sometimes even outclassing the rest of the developed countries,” he said.
Hamad Al Kaabi, also an employee, praised the efforts of the police staff members working at FanZone, who left their mark on the exhibition’s activities. This explains the significant turnout of visitors to the police pavilions, to learn about safe driving methods and the basic rules of traffic safety. The traffic education patrols in particular attracted both children and adults. Concluding, Al Kaabi explained that this is not his first visit to FanZone, and that he has attended all previous exhibitions.
Employee Muhammad Al Esaai agrees and commends the exceptional instrumental role of Abu Dhabi Police in the FanZone Exhibition. He noted that the educational brochures, the symbolic gifts and the tireless willingness of police officers to answer all queries attracted members of the public to the police pavilion. He also pointed out that the auto simulation system used to acquaint visitors with safe driving methods was a highly admired attraction. “The FanZone is a celebration of education and joy, where visitors can find their share of fun and culture,” said Al Essaai.
For her part, Um Bassel, a housewife, said that she is always closely following the police participation in all societal events, particularly FanZone, alongside the various participating entities. She emphasized that her children fully enjoy the exhibition’s activities, lauding the police’s efforts to bring down the barrier between community members and the police; and establish an affectionate relationship. Concluding, she stressed that police officials exerted significant efforts to involve members of the public in its endeavor to achieve its vision of a stable, crime-free community.
Sarah Al Kayli, a student, commended the keenness of all FanZone Exhibition participating entities, including Abu Dhabi Police, to attract various society segments and nationalities. “The Abu Dhabi Police is always keen to proactively take part in public-related events, notably international exhibitions and festivals. This has achieved a good reputation for Abu Dhabi Police, and prompted numerous organizations to invite the Abu Dhabi Police to take part in such events, to leverage its experiences in achieving the highest levels of security and stability in a short period of time, and make the United Arab Emirates one of the safest and most secure countries in the world,” she stated.
