Ministry of Interior Signs Partnership Agreement with Reed to Organize ISNR 2014

The Ministry of Interior has signed an agreement with Reed Exhibitions to organize the International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition “ISNR 2014”. The exhibition, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company from March 31 to April 3, includes exhibitions for fire prevention, crisis management, work safety, and the International Conference on Security Challenges “ICSC.”
Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, signed the agreement on behalf of the Ministry of Interior in the presence of Mr. Frederic Theux, President of Reed Exhibition. The signing ceremony was held at the Police Academy in Abu Dhabi.
The agreement is the result of both parties’ willingness to organize “ISNR 2014” and the “ICSC” that will be held during the exhibition. ISNR is a biennial exhibition that is held both locally and internationally under the patronage of the Ministry of Interior. It reflects the bright civilized personality of the UAE.
The agreement aims to keep up with the international developments made and the challenges that face security and resilience efforts, and familiarize people with the best practices, applications, and innovations. Furthermore, the agreement fosters cooperation with local, regional, and international partners to make the exhibition one of the best international exhibitions and conferences. The agreement will help increase public attendance of the exhibition and conference, will help modernize the systems of security and safety in the UAE, and will help attract international companies, manufactures, and specialized pavilions in the fields of security and safety, and improve Abu Dhabi’s position and help it become a hub for decision makers and international experts in the field of international security and resilience.
Under the terms of the agreement, formal invitations will be sent to other countries in order for them to participate in the exhibition and conference. The terms of the agreement also include guidelines for supervising, planning, and applying the media plan for the exhibition and conference, and plans to adopt it internally and externally. The agreement also includes the supervising process to prepare the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the exhibition, in addition to the final arrangements of the VIP guests and conference halls. All of the arrangements and preparations have been set based on what meets the UAE’s standards in collaboration with Reed Exhibitions.
Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Secretariat of the Higher Organizing Committee, attended the ceremony along with a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior.
