The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate, represented by the Al Ain Traffic Section, reiterated its keenness to participate in different social events, in line with Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to promote communication and partnership with different society sectors.
Major Salah Abdullah Al Hemairi, Acting Head of Al Ain Traffic Section at the ADP Traffic and Patrols Directorate, recently met in his office the Chief Operating Officer of ProVita International Medical Center who came to honor the section for its participation in the educational traffic and social awareness event held last week and for its interaction with the hospital's inpatients and employees.
Major Salah Abdullah Al Hemairi said that the section's participation in the event stems out of its social and humanitarian responsibility, as per Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters' strategy, which calls for interacting with the different society segments to achieve the coveted communication and enhance the level of traffic awareness.
Michael B. Davis, CEO of ProVita International Medical Center, noted that the event, which featured a valuable participation from the Al Ain Traffic Section and a number of relevant entities, has had significant psychological and moral impact on the medical center’s patients and employees. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Al Ain Traffic Section for the much appreciated efforts; and called for furthering and enhancing cooperation in the future.
For his part, First Lieutenant Nasser Khalifa Al Shamesi, Public Relations Branch Manager at Al Ain Traffic Section, said that as part of their participation, the section gave an overview of the Education Patrols and acquainted the public with the patrols’ equipment and their role in traffic awareness and education. Educational traffic-oriented competitions were also organized for both employees and patients and prizes were distributed in order to spread happiness and fun among patients, doctors and nurses who highly praised this participation.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Michael B. Davis presented a commemorative shield to Major Salah Abdullah Al Hemairi on behalf of the Al Ain Traffic Section. Commemorative pictures were also taken.
The meeting was attended by Major Matar Mohamed Al Al Muhairi and Major Matar Obaid Al Dhaheri from the Al Ain Traffic Section, along with First Lieutenant Nasser Khalifa Al Shamesi, Public Relations Branch Manager at the section, and Mohamed Saleh, Healthcare coordinator at ProVita International Medical Center.
