Moza Al Ameri Council Recommends Activation of Technology in Public Schools

Praising MoI Social Initiatives

Participants at the Ramadan Council held under the slogan “United in Knowledge,” and discussed the topic “Education from Indoctrination Down to Creative Thinking,” recommended the activation of technology in public schools and encouraging males to engage in the teaching career. They also demanded steps to develop professional training within education sector.

The Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior organized this council that was hosted by Moza Saif Al Ameri, Deputy Director of Family Development Department and the host of Women Ramadan Council in Dubai.

Afra Al Basti, Member of the Federal National Council and Executive Director of Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, moderated the council which discussed education within elements of the UAE 2021 vision. She said that the Initiative of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to organize these councils represent a positive social initiative. “Today’s council hosted people evolved in education sector, including officials, teachers, female students and parents,” Al basti said.

Al Ameri praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in organizing the Ramadan Councils that aim to promote communication among all community categories, discuss their problem and result in recommendations to solve them.

She said: “We chose Education from Indoctrination Down to Creative Thinking to be the title for this council. The council hosted women from all segments including speakers, students, newly appointed teachers and retired teachers, which gave this meeting a familial feature.”

Dr. Shaikha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla of the General women's union praised the MoI Ramadan Councils held for the second year in a row and extended her gratitude to the Ministry that gathered at these meetings expertise and contributions from across all fields of specialties, in order to discuss topics of interests to the UAE, and promote developmental efforts. Dr. Al Mulla said that Ramadan Council represents a civilized initiative that enriches experiences.

Aisha Al Muhairi, specialist in curriculums and teaching methods, said: “The idea of the MoI Ramadan Councils is creative and a distinguished experience that allows holding meetings and discussions that result in purposeful recommendations to benefit the society.”

Al Muhairi added: “Holding these councils at homes adds a sense of warmth and social solidarity. At these meetings, even children will have the chance to hear about their parents’ experiences. Today, we discussed education, as an importance issue that is important to all society members. The discussion was purposeful and the Ramadan Council experience could be generalized across the country, in order to bring benefit to all segments of the society.”
