As
part of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s celebrations of the 43rd National
Day, the Police Schools Department; the Residency and Foreigners Affairs
Departments in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain; the Al Ain Medical Services
Section at the Medical Services Department; and the Tourism Police
Section at the Abu Dhabi Police, expressed their pride of the
achievements of the federal journey. The celebrations recalled the
ambience of the past and reflected the glory of the present and the
future.
Colonel Waleed Al Shamesi, Head of Police Schools Department,
said: “The Second of December is a precious memory that reflects the
will of our founding fathers and demonstrates the achievements of our
wise leadership that holds the spirit of persistence and enjoys an
insightful vision, making the United Arab Emirates one of the most
advanced countries in the world, in terms of security and safety.”
The
Police Schools Department had knitted an 80-meter UAE flag. Captain
Rashid al Dhaheri, Director of Strategic Planning branch at the
department, also celebrated the occasion, demonstrating a very appealing
decoration on his car.
Al Ain Residency
The Residency and
Foreigners Affairs Department in Al Ain, at the Directorate General of
Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, participated in the
celebrations organized by the Al Ain Police Directorate and Municipality
on the occasion of the 43rd National Day. The Residency and Foreigners
Affairs Department in Al Ain took part in the march organized by the Al
Ain Police Directorate. The event included a full program, involving
many government entities.
Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi,
Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Center in Al Ain, said:
The Second of December is a beloved occasion, in which we recall the
founder of the union, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who is
the father and the leader who turned the union dream into a strong,
well established reality, leaving a glorious edifice and a concrete
foundation, together with his brothers their Highnesses, Members of the
Supreme Council. Today, we are proud of being part of this great
edifice. The participation of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs
Department in Al Ain, together with its strategic partners, comes in
line with our keenness to empower our relations across the city of Al
Ain. We support mutual cooperation and the exchange of support and
expertise. We prepared the ceremony program in implementation of our
partners’ wish. We wanted to deliver a distinguished celebration to the
customers of all Al Ain government services institutions and
departments.”
In the same context, and under the slogan “Share us Our
Joy,” the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in
Abu Dhabi distributed souvenirs to 43 customers on the occasion of the
43rd national Day. The customers praised this initiative and extended
their heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the UAE wise leadership
and people, wishing them prosperity. They expressed their joy to
participate in the UAE celebrations. They said: “We consider the UAE as
our second home as it has offered us a lot and provided us with decent
life at this oasis of security and stability.”
ADP Tourism Section
The
Tourism Police Section at the Abu Dhabi Police launched an initiative
titled “In the Footsteps of Zayed” through which, patients at the Sheikh
Khalifa Medical City expressed their joy of the National Day. The
patients, both children and adults, received gifts and celebrated
together with a delegation of the Tourism Police; actors Dr. Habib
Ghuloom, Tariq Al-Ali and Haifa Hussein; and the hospital staff.
Lieutenant
Colonel Muzeed Fahd Al Otaibi, Chief of the Tourism Police Section,
said: “Visiting patients and celebrating the National Day with them is a
humanitarian duty that establishes the social partnership of the Abu
Dhabi Police. It aims to involve individuals and communicate with them
across all occasion. This initiative comes in line with the nationwide
celebrations, and it allowed patients to enjoy and celebrate the
National Day. It aimed to ease their pain and enhance the care and
attention they receive. The Abu Dhabi Police is keen to foster its
approach on social cooperation and responsibility.”
Lieutenant
Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of Coordination Branch at the Tourism
Police Section, said: “This initiative drew a smile on the faces of the
patients, both children and adults. A group of top comedians added a
joyful touch to this initiative.”
Al Ain Medical Services
In a
distinguished national atmosphere, employees of the Al Ain Medical
Services Section at the Medical Services Department celebrated the UAE
43rd National Day. A number of police officers and members, officials
from health and service entities in Al Ain, and school children,
attended the celebration. The event included a variety of traditional
programs and other shows. The start was with a military piece of music
and appealing traditional performances delivered by students of Al Alaa
Model School for girls and Al Yahar Private School and Kindergarten. The
celebration was concluded with a march, along which, officers,
employees and medical staff at the Medical Services Section carried the
UAE flag during the march.
ADP Legal Affairs: 43 Contracts in 43 Hours
On
the occasion of the 43rd National Day, the Legal Affairs Department at
the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, launched an initiative to articulate, execute
and approve 43 contracts for Abu Dhabi Police, as well as to follow up
the execution of 43 contracts by specialized departments, all within
continuous 43 hours.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Naqbi,
Chief of Contracts Section, said: “This initiative reflects the union
spirit and pays back our country and its wise leadership with their
unlimited support. It also follows the instructions of the Abu Dhabi
Police GHQ to empower the values of belonging and loyalty, through
meaningful productive work, in order to support the UAE glory and be
part of our country’s development.
Employees across all positions
have to protect the union. This day will empower the union spirit and
their love to their country. They will give more and work harder to
protect the UAE achievements. This initiative has a strong symbol
reflecting the employees feeling of belonging, while supporting their
national feeling.”
Lieutenant Colonel Al Naqbi explained: “The
department, represented in the Contracts Section, carried out the
initiative on Tuesday, 25 November 2014, from 12:00 pm (noon) until 7:00
am on Sunday, 27 November 2014. Employees of the Contracts Section were
eager and worked hard to accomplish the mission. This unique initiative
reflects the love of our country which was always generous to its
people and residents. It reflects the devotion in giving and loyalty to
our country.”
