ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, January 25th 2015 [ME NewsWire]
The Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) launched a rent-to-own car service. The new service falls within the framework of the Fund’s efforts to provide distinguished services that benefit the employees of the MoI.
Brigadier Salem Al Shamesi, Director General of the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior, stressed that the service provides beneficiaries with various vehicles to suit the various needs of the MoI employees in return for monthly rental fees. Beneficiaries are given an option to own the vehicle at the end of the rental period.
“Financing the purchase of these cars in order to provide service is conducted in accordance with the banking system and is compatible with the provisions of Islamic law,” Brigadier Al Shamesi added. “The service includes a number of features and benefits for the MoI employees, including comprehensive insurance, free registration, and regular comprehensive maintenance.”
He also explained that the financing service is flexible and facilitates purchases for beneficiaries without the need for deposits. He also noted that this step further advances the efforts of the Fund’s management to enhance performance and to diversify services in order to achieve the objectives of the Fund.
