(BUSINESS WIRE) -- On April 14th, Kerui delivered its latest 3rd generation fast-moving drilling rig to the world's leading drilling contractor, Dalma. The rig was shipped to the Middle East on April 20th. Since 2013, 9 sets of fast-moving drilling rigs have been delivered to Dalma. Based on this, Kerui and Dalma established a strategic cooperation relationship. So far, contracts with a value of more than 200 million US dollars have been executed.
With the technology accumulating and market success of the 1st and 2nd generation fast moving drilling rig, Kerui pays more attention to technical innovation and increasing operation efficiency of drilling rigs. Sufficiently communicating with Dalma, Kerui sends engineers to Dalma worksites to study the special requirements. After half a year’s R&D and testing, the 3rd generation fast moving drilling rig is published.
The structure of the 3rd generation fast moving drilling rig is with a higher level of integration: the mast, substructure, drawworks, BOP remote control room, integration hydraulic station and electrical guideline machine are installed in one trailer, the installation is needed only for the first drilling operation. The generation sets, VFD electrical control room, top drive electrical control room and mud pump units can moved quickly by trailers, the operation of installation and transportation can be reduced greatly. The breakthrough of modularization, mobility and reliability of drilling rig are realized.
