The Special Security Forces Institute celebrated the graduation of 20 officers and noncommissioned
officers from various police departments at the Ministry of Interior after completing two specialized
training courses.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Staff Dr. Ali Salim Al Tunaiji, Deputy Commander of Special
Security Forces; Major Bader Saleh Al Marzouqi, Director of the Special Security Forces Institute;
and a number of officials at the Special Security Forces General Headquarters.
Colonel Staff Al Tunaiji said that these courses carried out by the institute are a key pillar to
developing the human element and helping him acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to
upgrade his performance and enable him to fulfill his duties in the best possible way.
He added: “These two specialized courses were organized for their high importance in supporting
the Special Security Forces’ work, as they involve a lot of security-related sciences and applications.
They were also instrumental in acquainting participants with the latest innovations to promote
security and stability in the country.”
He noted that, as part of the courses, students received fundamental material and military training
related to police work. They were also provided with special skills and training on firearms and
shooting; in addition to a number of theoretical applications to help develop their abilities, skills and
knowledge, and to qualify them for proper security and police work.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, Deputy Commander of Special Security Forces,
accompanied by Director of the Special Security Forces Institute, distributed prizes and certificates
to the top achievers and graduates from the two courses.
