MoI Honors 31 Outstanding Employees from the Naturalization and Residency Sector

The Ministry of Interior honored 31 outstanding officers, non-commissioned officers, constables , civilians, residents, and those participating in the third edition of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award (Director General category), during a ceremony that was held at Union Hall at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Department.
In his speech at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Ali bin Wadeema Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services, said: “The Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award complements our approach and our commitment to promoting the culture of quality and excellence. It comes in line with the police leadership’s vision and embodies the strategy of the Department of Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, which aims to encourage participation in awards that can enhance performance and competence among employees.”
He added that the award encourages the sector’s staff members to keep up with development and modernization approach pursued by the ministry, using modern techniques and systems in the areas of security and administrative work. He also explained that the cycle of development and innovation can only be completed through qualified and highly trained human resources that can make optimal use of these technologies to improve the quality of police work.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Ameri presented the certificates to participants in the Award; in the presence of heads of departments, chiefs of sections, and a number of officers from the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector.
