Methodist International Begins Affiliation with Al Amal Hospital in Amman, Jordan

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Methodist International, the global subsidiary of The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, United States of America, has entered into an affiliation agreement with Al Amal Hospital to provide services for the design, development and commissioning of a new acute care hospital in Amman, Jordan.

Al Amal Hospital is an established and respected maternity hospital in Amman, Jordan with a vision to expand its services and establish a distinguished acute care hospital. The new hospital will include around 150 inpatient beds and more than 50 outpatient clinics in addition to emergency rooms, operating rooms and critical care units.

Under the agreement, Methodist International will provide expertise in the planning and design of the facility, medical equipment and information system selection. In addition, Methodist International will be responsible for management, operation systems and leadership development as well as the commissioning of the facility. Following the opening of the new hospital, the agreement will focus on quality, training, and knowledge transfer management.
