Under the patronage of Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the United Arab Emirates will be hosting the seventh edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi) event, taking place 15 – 17 March 2016 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior asserted that organizing the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016) in its seventh edition embodies the higher leadership’s commitment to organizing specialized international exhibitions based on international best standards. It also highlights the leadership’s continuous endeavors to provide the best security and safety opportunities and decent life to community members, out of its belief that the security institution is one of the key pillars of stability, development, and growth, which works to achieve the vision and leadership to which we aspire, and to place the UAE amongst the ranks of the most developed countries in the world.
HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed reasserted that the Exhibition is a valuable opportunity for the region’s governments and private sector institutions concerned with security and safety to meet and exchange expertise with the participating delegations and exhibiting companies. They can also familiarize themselves with the latest international technological systems and specialized equipment for security, safety, crime fighting, and prevention.
Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of the 2016 International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi) said: “The Middle East’s homeland security market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 18.7% by 2020, three times the global average, driven by positive results.”
He also explained that the exhibition is the third biggest international exhibition and conference on national defense in the world. He said: “Regional mega-events alone are driving infrastructure investment of up to $700 billion between now and 2020. These investments include residential and commercial construction, transportation infrastructure and public utilities, all of which must be protected with advanced security systems and solutions.”
Major General Al Raisi also explained that the ISNR Abu Dhabi is a dedicated comprehensive platform for countries from around the world to view and source the world's latest homeland security solutions. It enables attendees to meet suppliers and conduct commercial deals. Now in its seventh edition, the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR) Abu Dhabi is considered the venue for three specialized events, including Infosecurity Middle East and Emergency Response and Disaster Prevention Exhibition. It will also host two co-located events under the same roof: Firefighting Middle East and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East.
According to a recent report by a prestigious international research firm, the Middle East’s homeland security market will see a compound annual growth rate that is three times the global average. This is driven primarily by economic diversification and massive scale-up in infrastructure projects such as the new passenger terminal at Abu Dhabi Airport; in addition to hosting mega-events, such as the Dubai Expo 2020 in the United Arab Emirates and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
