Dubai Residency Welcomes 3,000 Chinese Tourists

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai welcomed a group of 3,000 Chinese tourists who recently arrived to the UAE via Dubai International Airport.

The directorate expressed its heartfelt appreciation to the higher leadership for its unstinting attention and commitment to provide all necessary resources to position the UAE at the forefront of developed countries worldwide, and a renowned preferred destination for tourists and visitors from around the world.

H.E Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai noted that UAE become a world-class tourist destination. “Wherever you go on and about this good land, you meet crowds of tourists,” said Major General Al Marri.

He added: “We are proud that the Chinese tourists have chosen our beloved country to spend their 10-day vacation.” Moreover, Major General Al Marri expressed his heartfelt appreciation to staff members of Dubai Airports’ Passport Departments who have demonstrated through past experiences, their outstanding competence to receive and handle significant numbers of visitors. In conclusion, Major General Al Marri highlighted the keenness and dedication of the officers to volunteer to serve the passengers even when off-duty.
