New Search Engine, GoComb.com™ Launches Email Feature, GoComb Mail; Protects Consumer Privacy
MIAMI - Thursday, September 20th 2012 [ME NewsWire]
(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GoComb.com™ (www.gocomb.com) the recently launched search engine, has announced a new free email feature—GoComb Mail—that protects consumer privacy.
Launched two weeks ago by Go Comb, Inc., a technology company specializing in the development of Internet-based applications, communications, services and accessories, GoComb.com has already had thousands of users. The addition of the free email feature is expected to drive that number higher.
“When we first introduced GoComb.com, we emphasized that it provides comprehensive global search results without storing personal data, unlike the older search engines in the industry,” said Isaac Daniel, CEO of the Isaac Daniel Group (IDG), which is managing Go Comb, Inc. “With GoComb Mail, we take that privacy protection one step further.”
According to Daniel, a recognized leader in emerging technologies whose GPS sneakers gained worldwide attention when they were launched in 2007, GoComb Mail:
Won’t archive users’ emails
Won’t ‘data mine’ consumers’ searches
Will automatically delete junk email
“While GoComb Mail users obviously can save their own email correspondence, they can rest assured that we will not have access to them,” Daniel emphasized. “Also, because users’ searches are private, we won’t do what is known as ‘data mining.’ The older search engine companies look at what consumers search for—they mine their data—and then direct the appropriate advertisers to them unsolicited. That will not happen with GoComb.com or GoComb Mail. For us, consumer privacy is the most important part of our services.”
