RSG International & Rotana announce second collaboration to launch a new 4-star hotel in Dubai

Image not foundRSG International, UAE-based business group with interests in the property development, automotive and industrial equipment sectors, signed a management agreement with Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with the hotels across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, for a new 4-star hotel in Dubai, at a prime location on Sheikh Zayed Road, Jebel Ali Central, next to UAE Exchange Metro Station.
The project marks RSG International’s second collaboration with Rotana this year, following the launch of the Sabah Rotana hotel in Dubai in March 2017, and gives a further boost to the company’s plans to augment its hospitality portfolio in the emirate ahead of Expo 2020. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the 54-storey, 533-room five star Sabah Rotana will include 210 spacious, well-appointed rooms in addition to 10 executive suites and 2 ultra-luxurious presidential suites. The hotel apartments meanwhile will include 260 one-bedroom and 52 two-bedroom apartments. Sabah Rotana will also feature an impressive array of food and beverage venues and world-class business and recreational facilities.
The new Rotana hotel on Sheikh Zayed road, rising up 40 floors, will also have a well-balanced mix of hotel rooms and hotel apartments. In total, the new property will feature 180 spacious rooms and 10 luxuriously appointed executive suites in addition to 300 hotel apartments, including 40 studio apartments, 240 one bedroom apartments and 20 two bedroom apartments. Guests can look forward to enjoying a variety of cuisines at the hotel’s exclusive restaurants, and also take advantage of a superb range of amenities that include three fully equipped meeting rooms, an executive lounge, and a state-of-the-art Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club that will include a gymnasium, swimming pool and wellness lounge. 
Dubai is on the brink of hosting 25 million visitors for Expo 2020, which is estimated to be the biggest event in the region’s history. RSG seeks to give its hospitality portfolio a big boost by harnessing the demand created by this event in collaboration with Rotana.
The agreement for the new hotel was signed between Nasser Al Nowais, Chairman of Rotana, and Raj Sahni, Chairman of RSG International at a ceremony held at Amwaj Rotana in Dubai.

Rotana will open eight new hotels in Dubai by 2020, which will have a combined a managed investment of more than USD 850 million. The new properties will add 2,668 keys to Rotana’s existing inventory in Dubai, taking the total room count to 6,151, while expanding its portfolio in the emirate to 21 hotels.
