98% of ISNR Abu Dhabi Reserved Six Weeks before its Launch

40% Increase in Area Compared to 2012 Conference

The Higher Organizing Committee for the International Security, Safety and National Resilience Exhibition and Conference “ISNR 2014” announced that this year’s exhibition has seen a 40% increase in area, compared to the 2012 exhibition. The Higher Organizing Committee also expects that the exhibition, which will be held from April 1-3, 2014, will draw 400 exhibitors, and 15,000 of the most prominent security, safety, and emergency experts and specialists, coming from about 40 countries from all over the world. The exhibition will occupy a total area of about 27,000 square meters.

An elite group of local, regional, and international companies will participate in the exhibition, including Tawazun, International Golden Group (IGG), Advanced Integrated Systems, Mubadala Development Company, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Emirates Advanced Investments, and Atlas Group. Other companies will also participate, including MP3 International, Motorola Solutions, Airbus, Smiths Detection, Thales Group; an international leading company in advanced technologies specializing in defense, security, space, and transportations, in addition to Harris Corporation, Morpho (Safran), Cassidian EADS, International Armored Group, American Science and Engineering Inc. (AS&E), and Elcom International, Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Rapiscan Systems, Renault Trucks, Deloitte Touche, Critical Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority “CICPA”, and Abu Dhabi Customs.

Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for ISNR 2014 and the International Conference for Security Challenges, said: “This year’s exhibition includes a vast and diversified array of modern products, services, and technologies that specialize in security fields, facilities and critical infrastructure protection.” He also added that the exhibition has attracted a huge number of local and regional companies, in addition to prominent experts and specialists in the security industry. As a result, the event is important to the specialists and interested individual’s agendas because it allows them to exchange expertise and ideas, and to view modern and recent inventions in the security industry.

“The reservation of 98% of the exhibition’s layout is an additional factor and proves the importance of this exhibition in the security, safety and emergency sectors,” Major General Staff Dr. Al Kutbi added.

Major General Staff Dr. Al Kutbi attributed the leading and prestigious position that Abu Dhabi has attained on the global level to the comprehensive cultural movement in all sectors. “This movement urges us to carry on and double our efforts to develop all security strategies,” Major General Staff Dr. Al Kutbi explained. “We must also look forward to enhance cooperation and coordination procedures, and exchange experiences with the various local and international bodies by organizing such important exhibitions that maintain the cultural gains of our country.”

It is worth mentioning that the new version of the exhibition features specialized pavilions for national security and resilience, in addition to a pavilion for cyber security, and a pavilion for critical infrastructure security. Additionally, the exhibition will witness two accompanying exhibitions; “The Fire & Emergency Middle East” (FEM), and “Occupational Safety and Health Middle East” (OSH ME). Hundreds of exhibitors, as well as prominent security, safety, and emergency experts and specialists from governmental, semi-governmental, and private sectors will be taking part and attending the exhibition.

Alongside the exhibition, the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi, will host an international conference about security challenges on Monday, March 31st, 2014. This conference will deal with critical issues and the necessary technologies that will help face these challenges. The conference, which will coincide with the International Security, Safety and National Resilience Exhibition by support of the MoI, is expected to witness the attendance of prominent security experts and police leaders who will discuss the means of international cooperation to support national security and stability.

The conference will also elaborate on relevant topics regarding security and law enforcement, like traffic safety, fire emergencies, grand events and occasions, and a number of other topics. Security experts from all over the world will present case studies the shed lights on efficient procedures and practices.
