Workshop Discusses MoI’s Strategic Policies

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, September 17th 2014 [ME NewsWire]
The Policies Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development organized a consultative workshop to discuss the strategic policies of the Ministry of Interior. 

The workshop was inaugurated by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Major General Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of consultations in the policy formulation process. “Consultations play a significant role in organizing police work, setting up the foundations and proper curriculum to improve performance and operational levels, achieving the coveted excellence and uniqueness, delivering high quality services and reducing disparities in implementation,” he said. 

Furthermore, the Secretary General emphasized that the UAE Government attaches great importance to enhancing the quality of life of the UAE society through effective communication, transparency and justice in providing excellent police services for citizens, residents and visitors alike. 

For his part, Captain Saeed Al Shamesi, Chief of the Policies Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior, delivered a presentation on the ministry’s policy development and formulation mechanism.
