CROMA PHARMA GmbH and RUCK TMED Announce a Global Partnership to Develop and Market a New Generation of Ophthalmic Surgical Systems

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Croma Pharma GmbH, a private global specialty pharmaceutical and surgical company and Ruck Tmed (merger of Fritz Ruck GmbH and T.MED GmbH), a private surgical company announced a global strategic partnership to co-promote a new generation ofophthalmology surgery systems having advantages over currently available devices. The partnership will focus on phacoemulisification and vitrectomy surgical systems, so far developed by Ruck Tmed and now supported by Croma Pharma GmbH.

The global distribution and the promotion of the new systems will be shared by Croma and Ruck Tmed. While the products in Germany, Switzerland and the Benelux will exclusively be distributed and promoted by Ruck Tmed, Croma Pharma will supply all other markets worldwide.
