The campaign for registering the Abu Dhabi Executive Council’s employees and their family members in the E-Ports Project kicked off on Sunday in Abu Dhabi. The project was launched by the Ministry of Interior to facilitate and accelerate the travel procedures upon departure and arrival at the country’s various ports.
Major Mohammad Ahmad Al Za’abi, Director of the E-Ports Project, said that the enrollment process on the first day went well. He praised the rapid registration process that takes less than 20 seconds, stating that the campaign shall continue until next Thursday.
Al Za’abi mentioned that the 169 smart services recently launched by the ministry are being introduced as part of the campaign. The Abu Dhabi Executive Council’s employees and their family members are acquainted with these services, and are taught the proper way to subscribe to them, either through smart phones or via the ministry’s official website.
Major Al Za’abi stated that the e-ports registration campaign included several shopping malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain before being extended to government sectors.
